Dr Arti Rattan

Qualifications: MBBS, MD, FRACP, CUHF, AGAF

Dr Arti Rattan is a Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and a Bariatric Endoscopist with a clinical experience of more than 24 years ,all based at University Teaching Hospitals.  She completed an Advanced Fellowship in EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) and Endoscopic management of Barrett’s oesophagus at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. She worked as a Gastroenterologist with Queensland Health following completion of Advanced Training in Gastroenterology at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.

She has received a Fellowship from American Gastroenterological Association. She is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia, Conjoint Committee for recognition of training in gastrointestinal endoscopy and European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr Rattan speaks several languages besides English: Hindi, Kashmiri, Punjabi, and Urdu.

Dr Rattan consults across various locations including  her Five Dock, Randwick and Campbelltown  rooms. She is appointed as a conjoint Lecturer with the University of New South Wales. Dr Rattan continues to teach medical students and gastroenterology trainees and contributes to research and publish in high impact international journals. She is a PhD candidate investigating if some of the common viruses can cause Gastric cancer Her PhD work is based at the UNSW.

Dr Arti Rattan performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound for diagnosis and therapy of gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
